Attention hiFace DAC is not designed to drive headphones. The hiFace DAC is NOT a headphones driver: it’s provided with a line output which only gives a little current. This may be enough for certain headphones, not for all. When properly used (that is, to drive a preamp or an amplifier), it betters all competitors. The same can’t be said when it drives headphones.
