D’Agostino LLC announces new Momentum stereo amplifier

New amplifier offers the same best-in-the-world sound quality and singular design of the Momentum monoblock at about half the cost.

WESTON, CT, SEPTEMBER 7, 2011 — The amplifier technology that is winning acclaim from reviewers as “the best” is now available in a stereo amplifier. D’Agostino LLC today announced that it will begin shipping the new Momentum stereo amplifier in November 2011.

            The Momentum stereo amplifier carries the same unique technologies that inspired one reviewer to say of the original Momentum monoblock, “It may, perhaps, be the best amplifier on the planet.” Solid copper venturi heat sinks provide efficient cooling while reducing the amplifier’s size. A highly efficient power supply reduces energy consumption to less than 1 watt at standby. High-speed transistors and rugged through-hole construction assure outstanding fidelity and reliability.

            The most visually distinctive feature of the monoblock—its graceful front power meter, inspired by the faces of Swiss watches—makes an encore appearance on the Momentum stereo amplifier, in this case with separate indicator needles for each channel.

            D’Agostino LLC rates the output of the Momentum stereo amplifier at 175 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 350 watts per channel into 4 ohms and 700 watts per channel into 2 ohms.

Langzaamaan verschijnen de eerste testberichten over de nieuwe Sonus faber luidspreker. En dan bedoelen we de Amati futura.

Deze nieuwe testberichten komen uit Hong Kong (for our Chinese speaking customers), Frankrijk, Duitsland. Voor de volledigheid vermelden we ook de test uit Engeland nog voor U. Audio Research aflevering bij Dé Hifiwinkel te Beek-Ubbergen — Livraison Audio Research chez Dé Hifiwinkel à Beek-Ubbergen

Na Rhapsody Hilversum was DÉ HifiWinkel Beek-Ubbergen aan de beurt om voorzien te worden van Audio Research. Aan Richard de taak om het Conrad Johnson bolwerk te omsingelen en binnen te dringen. Beide merken hebben ieder zo’n eigen karaker dat we er niet aan twijfelen dat deze twee merken naast elkaar kunnen (be)staan. Rob was er mee in zijn nopjes en natuurlijk mochten de apparaten geen millimeter “uithet lood” staan ….

Après Rhapsody Hilversum, ce fut le tour de Dé Hifiwinkel Beek-Ubbergen de recevoir ses Audio Research. La tache de Richard fut d’envahir le bastion Conrad Johnson. Les deux marques ont leurs propres caractères et nous sommes convaincus qu’elles peuvent exister l’une à côté de l’autre. Rob était ravi et naturellement les appareils devaient être positionnés au millimètre près…

Audio Research aflevering bij Rhapsody te Hilversum — Livraison Audio Research chez Rhapsody à Hilversum

Richard was vrijdag gelukkig weer beschikbaar om een ritje Hilversum te doen om daar een bestelling Audio Research af te leveren en te plaatsen. Harry The Boss was alleen “thuis” en moest een handje helpen omdat de knie van Richard stevig in de vernieling ligt.

Dit weekend presenteerde Rhapsody de nieuwe Sonus faber Guarneri Evolution en we wilden graag de nieuwe Audio Research apparaten tijdig ter plekke hebben. Gelukt dus. De foto is het bewijs.

Vendredi, heureusement Richard était disponible pour se rendre à Hilversum pour livrer et installer une livraison d’Audio Research. Harry le Patron était seul “à la maison” et a du aider Richard, car son genoux l’handicape toujours.  

Ce weekend Rhapsody présentait la nouvelle Sonus faber Guarneri Evolution et nous voulions avoir à temps les nouveaux produits Audio Research. Réussi ! La photo le confirme.
