“After reading many stellar reviews (and seeing Kevins videos) of PrimaLuna products I purchased an EVO 400 integrated. I now realize that as accurate as the reviews are about PrimaLuna being a great product, it is hard to put into words how truly “remarkable” the sound reproduction of this amp is! The words engaging, accurate, lifelike and above all else FUN come to mind. Whenever I turn on the EVO 400 its like inviting the musicians into my home. Joni Mitchell sounds as if she’s in the room and the bass slam and guitar riffs of Mick Taylor’s Red House/Goin Down Slow will glue you to your seat! This was meant to be a one line review, oh well! Associated equipment: BW705s2, Denon 59L/dl103/Project Tubebox DS w/Genelax Gold Lion, Cambridge Audio CXC and DAC Magic Plus.”

“Give a great tube amp a try; it amazed me, maybe you too will be amazed. Large speakers or small; it changed the character of my system in a positive way that is hard to describe. I will try; the sound, timbre and almost spooky sound that was eerily amazing. It was like I was alone, and watching a scary movie. It was that eye opening. PrimaLuna & Upscale Audio at T.H.E. Show

Last weekend T.H.E Show took place, and of course, Upscale Audio was present to show and audition their distribution brands and products!

At the Axpona show in Chicago, Upscale Audio played with the Tannoy Kensington loudspeakers powered by our PrimaLuna EVO 300 Hybrid Integrated Amplifier , and it received a lot of positive feedback from the visitors of the Axpona show!

With this successful and highly acclaimed combination, Upscale Audio packed out again at the T.H.E Show last weekend! Once again, the Tannoy Kensington loudspeakers combined with EVO 300 Hybrid were praised.

Of course, it takes more than just a pair of beautiful speakers and an integrated amplifier. The system also had room for the PrimaLuna EVO 100 Tube Phono Preamplifier and PrimaLuna EVO 100 Tube DAC. A VPI Industries Signature 21 Turntable running a Soundsmith Hyperion ES MKII Moving Iron Cartridge was the primary source in the room; a Lumin U2 Digital Transport connected to the EVO 100 Tube DAC was the digital front-end. Cardas Audio provided all cabling in the room.

“Huge, smooth, and just intensely moving,” remarked Eric Pye ( eCoustics, Vintage Audio Editor) in his comments later that day.
