PrimaLuna – Francisco Gallo

Last week on Instagram we came into contact with Paco Gallo who recently became the owner of a PrimaLuna EVO 100 Tube DAC. On Instagram he shared his beautiful photos of his EVO 100 Tube DAC and last week we received his photos by email with the following message from Paco.

Hi, I am Francisco Gallo from Spain!

In the past week, I went to a demo with de Sarté Audio Elite people, and I could hear your preamp and the power stage, and your product is superb. Great. I heard the EVO 400-4 Power Amp with KT150 tubes, and the EVO 400-3 Pre Amp. The system was completed with an Esoteric DAC, with a Nucleus from Roon, and your system drove a pair of Sasha DAW from Wilson Audio. 

Incredible the sound, in this level of price, in this equipment. I would like to hear the system, with two power Amps working in mono. Congratulations, your devices are incredible. 

I enjoy your DAC every day, and in my opinion, is a fascinating equipment.

“PrimaLuna has achieved a fine feat with the EVO 300 Hybrid, conjoining the best aspects of both valve and solid-state into a reasonably affordable amplifier that sounds thoroughly modern, transparent, open and enjoyable. Its general punch and bass heft will suit those with inefficient loudspeakers or large listening rooms, but this amplifier also works wonders with smaller sized loudspeakers – letting them reach their full potential. The pricing of this amplifier is where it should be and is good value compared to separates but without all the fussiness. Do try to audition it – you may just walk out of your local dealer with it under your arm, if you’re strong enough!”
