The team of Upscale Audio in the USA made one of their customers happy with a PrimaLuna EVO 400 Tube Preamplifier.
I really enjoy my PrimaLuna EVO 400 preamp. I’m using it with a McIntosh MC275 amp driving KEF LS50 Meta speakers. The sound is warm with smooth highs and excellent imaging in three dimensions. I’m really impressed by how quiet the EVO 400 is. I suspect the quiet background greatly contributes to the imaging. The EVO 400 replaced a McIntosh solid state preamp that I liked for its transparency. But I greatly prefer the EVO 400. The EVO 400 has better imaging and gives instruments a more realistic tone, from classical piano to distorted rock guitars. I’m very happy with my purchase!
