Another BRIK in the wall…

Some time ago one of my importing and distributing collegues told me to have a look at some small sized audio gear from a Taiwanese OEM manufacturer, who now -for the first time- wanted to issue some products under his own brand name. The brand name is BRIK and it is referring to the idea that what he has designed is a range of modules, a range of bricks (or BRIKs) to build an audio system of choice. Being very affordable it could be an extra system for the office, bedroom, hobby room or the kids, but of course also for the living room.

The range is built around the Integrated Amplifier, although you can do without of course. A BRIK is a brick. But in many cases the Integrated Amplifier will be the “center” of the system around which modules of choice will be connected. The available modules are a D/A Converter, a Bluetooth Stage, Internet Radio, Phono Stage, Equalizer Stage and an Input Selector. All these modules come with their own Power Adaptor (except the Input Selector which is a passive module). To make cable-life a bit easier you can add a Power Master Supply, forget the Power Adaptors, and connect all modules to this Master Supply. Less wires, better supply, everything on/off with one power switch.

Next to the modules BRIK also supplies very affordable, but good quality RCA cables and a black and white Acrylic Shelf which makes a small set very stylish. It made me think of the old wooden cabinet of Quad in the good old time.

Tomorrow we will show you the full BRIK range by an introduction video of one of the collegue BRIK distributors.

BRIK will be part of a larger distribution network and will join as such products of M2Tech and others.
