De mensen die onze blog en facebookpagina volgen, hebben kunnen lezen dat Durob Audio besloten heeft om de import en distributie van Krell te beëindigen. Na zoveel jaar doet het natuurlijk “pijn” om zo’n beslissing te moeten nemen, maar de redenen, die beschreven staan in de vorige blog, zijn voor ons voldoende aanleiding geweest om de samenwerking te stoppen.
Na het verspreiden van het nieuws hebben wij verschillende reacties ontvangen van klanten. Logisch. Met name kwam in de reacties naar voren “wat als mijn Krell product een klacht of een defect heeft? Bij wie kan ik NU terecht”.
Voor de mensen die deze logische “gedachten” hebben, willen we benadrukken dat U gewoon bij ons, bij Durob Audio, terecht kunt. Wij hebben met Krell de afspraak dat “Krell eigenaren” bij ons terecht kunnen voor service issues. Ook Krell begrijpt dat al die apparaten die in de markt staan, nazorg nodig hebben en dat de bestaande ervaring daarmee voor de eindgebruiker buitengewoon belangrijk is.
Het betekent dus niet dat Durob Audio niets meer voor U als Krell eigenaar wil en kan betekenen. Onze jarenlange ervaring met Krell blijft voor U beschikbaar zoals U dat van ons gewend bent. Dus … mocht uw Krell product service nodig hebben, neem contact met ons op!
Óók levering van Krell producten zullen wij in voorkomende gevallen blijven verzorgen.
Voornaamste gevolg van ons besluit is dat wij niet meer de exclusieve vertegenwoordiger van de fabrikant zijn, en dus ook niet het juridische aanspreekpunt voor een niet door ons geïmporteerd cq gedistribueerd product.

Stereophile magazine has listed the M2Tech Young DSD as a CLASS A component in the catergory “digital processors.”
This is what Sterophile magazine concluded:
“Elegant and modern in appearance, the M2Tech Young is a DC-powered D/A processor with a simple aluminum case, a recessed front panel, and a large alphanumeric display. It uses a Burr-Brown PCM1795 DAC chip with a custom oversampling minimum-phase filter. It handles resolutions up to 32 bits via USB (24 bits via S/PDIF or AES/EBU), and sample rates up to 384kHz via USB (192kHz via S/PDIF or AES/EBU). While the Young lacked some accuracy and precision, it nevertheless managed an excellent balance of detail and warmth, said JI. Review was with the Palmer Power Station battery power supply, now replaced byt he Van der Graaf low-noise power supply ($1199). Adding the Palmer resulted in significantly more focus and clarity. “The M2Tech combo seduced me,” JI concluded. Current version will decode DSD128. (Vol.36 No.5 WWW)
