ARC will start to ship SE update kits for the REF5 and REF Phono 2 (RP2) beginning in March 2012. These kits will include the following: New front panel with round metal buttons, new side panel with an additional power supply board attached, new coupling capacitors, some new internal wires, a new 6550WE tube for the power supply, and instructions.

The LS17SE update kit will include a new front panel with round metal buttons, new coupling capacitors, and new bypass capacitors. ARC will begin to ship the kits at the end of February.

ARC owners are invited to contact their dealer to reserve a kit and update time. Once these kits will be availabe in BeNeLux we can make a schedule to have these updates executed.

Please specify the front panel color required for each update kit. If no panel color is specified we will enter the order for a natural (silver) front panel. Also provide serial number please.

ARC will be limited in the number of updates kits they can provide each month, so it is advisable to order these update kits as soon as possible.

As we are always short in service time we will only handle units which have been imported by us or by Acson. Units from “elsewhere” have to go “elsewhere”. Units will be only accepted through current ARC dealers. Units sold by Acson through dealers who are no ARC dealers anymore will be handled by us DIRECT, or through one of the current ARC dealers.
