Yes, you can say that for some wines and some cheese. But for audiophiles? I am afraid not.
Last week I got a message from Rob Wilms, store-manager of DÉ HifiWinkel in Beek-Ubbergen. Rob himself is a fanatic audiophile and experiments a lot with acoustic accessoires. And with good results. He received an email from one of his older audiophile customers.
“Hi Rob, I want to inform you that the Stein boxes are ‘gold’ for me. I experienced this again last night. News- and discussion programs like Pauw & Witteman are now easy to follow for me without raising the volume, without switching on my hearing-aids, without switching on the ‘hearing-loss’ subtitling. I can even lower the volume and still understand the discussions. In fact I think you can find a group of new customers in the hearing-aid shops! Conclusion: I feel a lot better now!”
Isn’t that good news? Probably these devises filter out some unwanted resonances or amplify some “desired” frequencies? Mr. Stein?
