Las Vegas CES 2013, JackPOT of JackPLOF …???

ces-show-floorWat mij de eerste dag van de CES (beurs voor de Pro People in audio, video, electronica) al meteen opviel -tenminste in The Venetian waar de high end merken hun plaatsje hebben- was het grote aantal exposanten en het grote aantal bezoekers. Althans, voor mijn gevoel. Het kwam gewoon erg levendig over allemaal en dat stemt je natuurlijk “blij”. Maar tegelijkertijd bekruipt je toch ook het gevoel van “leuk dat het hier allemaal allelujah is”, terwijl het thuis in Europa, zakelijk gezien, allemaal minder vrolijk lijkt.

The art of … Launching a product is more than manufacturing a good design …

launchBeing confrontated all day long with all kind of problems in different products is a good thing. At least if you learn out of that and if you get the opportunity to do something with it. I was thinking about that when we received today a carton with 100 new laser-assemblies. Laser-assemblies for our new PrimaLuna ProLogue Premium CD Player. As you might know this is a heavy tubified machine, not the cheapest but still one with a very high price/quality ratio, born in the late days of the cd and all that means … no mass quantities. But still, like any other product, we have to be able to give after sales service for the next ** years.
