René van Es was visiting for us in Münich a number of manufacturers to talk about their past, present and future. Not every manufacturer was visited and interviewed, but at least the result is 3 great reports. Rene describes his conversations with Audia Flight (Italy), Copland (Denmark) and Stein Music (Germany) and hopefully there will be more interviews of this kind from his hand, possibly followed by experiences of users of these products. Rene thanks for your extensive efforts.

Audia Flight in a nutshell

The second manufacturer I spoke with at the Münich High End Show 2012, Audia Flight, was represented by the two owners of the Italian company, Marzi Massimiliano and Andrea Nardini. Unfortunately there was no possibility for them to demo their products, only the eye was gratified with polished aluminum. I am myself a proud owner of the “pure class A” power amplifier of this brand, which is playing every day at my home. The two men were for sure more techie than smooth talkers, something that for an interviewer is not really easy. With some difficulty I got some words out of them, while enjoying an excellent espresso they knew to prepare on the spot.

Interview door René van Es: Audia Flight in vogelvlucht

René van Es was voor ons aanwezig in München om met een aantal fabrikanten te praten over hun verleden, heden en toekomst. Niet iedere fabrikant uit ons leveringsprogramma werd gesproken, maar in ieder geval hebben we er 3 leuke verslagen aan overgehouden. René beschrijft zijn gesprekken met Audia Flight (Italië), Copland (Denemarken) en Stein Music (Duitsland) en hopelijk volgen er meer van deze interviews van zijn hand, eventueel opgevolgd door ervaringen van gebruikers van deze producten. René bedankt voor je uitgebreide moeite.
 

Audia Flight in vogelvlucht

De tweede fabrikant waar ik mee sprak op de High End Show München 2012 is Audia Flight, vertegenwoordigd door de twee eigenaren van het Italiaanse bedrijf, te weten Massimiliano Marzi en Andrea Nardini. Helaas was er ook voor hen geen mogelijkheid om producten te laten spelen, alleen het oog werd gestreeld met glanzend aluminium. Met trots ben ik eigenaar van de “pure klasse A”-eindversterker van dit merk, die dagelijks staat te spelen. De twee heren bleken al snel meer techneut te zijn dan vlotte prater, een gegeven dat de zaak voor een interviewer niet echt gemakkelijk maakt. Met moeite kreeg ik wat woorden uit ze los, onder het genot van een voortreffelijke espresso die zij ter plaatse wisten te maken.

Un entretien de René van Es : Copland par Ole Moller

René van Es a été rendre visite à Munich à un certain nombre de nos fabricants pour parler de leur passé, présent et avenir. Tous nos fabricants n’ont pas été visité, mais nous avons  3 reportages très intéressants. René décrit ses conversations avec Audia Flight (Italie), Copland (Danemark) et Stein Music (Allemagne) et j’espère qu’il y aura plus d’interviews de sa main, éventuellement suivis par des expériences d’utilisateurs de ces produits. René, merci pour vos efforts.

Le Salon High End de Munich est désormais le lieu où rencontrer des gens. Que ce soit pour les fabricants, distributeurs, presse, ou de la musique, vous devez juste aller à Munich. Lors du salon j’ai rencontré cette année un homme à la voix douce et posée, qui est depuis plus de 30 ans dans l’industrie audio et à sa façon impose son empreinte dans ce même secteur d’activité. Ole Møller n’est pas une personne qui crie haut et fort pour vendre ses produits. Il est plutôt un designer et consultant, qui depuis 30 ans, sait d’une manière intelligente maintenir sa place dans le marché. Malgré les foules, même dans le restaurant où nous avions pensé avoir trouvé une place pour une conversation tranquille, nous avons pris le temps pour en apprendre un peu plus sur Ole et sur sa gamme actuelle de produits Copland et sur les développements futurs.

The High End Show in Münich is now the place to meet people. Whether it is for manufacturers, distributors, press, or music, you just have to go to Munich. On the show I ran this year into a soft-spoken and gentle man, who is for more than 30 years in the audio industry and in his own way puts a mark on the same industry. Ole Møller is not a person who screams out loud to sell his products. He is more a designer and consultant, who for 30 years knows in a smart way to maintain his own place in the market. Despite the crowds, even in the restaurant where we thought to have found a place for a quiet conversation, there was time for a few questions to learn more about Ole, about his current range of Copland products and about the future developments.
