De afgelopen dagen hebben we U een beetje laten horen wat de eerste Venere ervaringen van verschillende dealers zijn geweest, nu willen we twee schrijvende leden van onze Nederlandse audio community aan het woord laten. Eerst Onno Kiviet’s eerste indrukken, daarna die van Werner Ero.

Those last days we have shared the first Venere experiences of different dealers, now we have the meanings of two members of the Dutch audio journalist community. Firstly Onno Kiviet and then Werner Ero.

Onno Kiviet, recensent, Puresound: De kleine Venere 2.5 telg uit de familie liet een drive en energie horen die mij wederom in vervoering bracht. Mijn conclusie is dan ook dat Sonus faber in deze prijsklasse een nieuw statement heeft neergezet, waar andere luidsprekerfabrikanten zich de tanden op stuk zullen gaan bijten. Want ga d’r maar eens aan staan om het mogelijk te maken voor de consument om een paartje luidsprekers van € 2550,- te kunnen kopen met zo’n hoge afwerkingsgraad en geluidskwaliteit. Met een diepe buiging neem ik mijn petje af voor deze jongste telg van de familie!!

Gisteren ben ik trouwens even bij Rhapsody gaan luisteren naar de Sonus faber Venere en Amati Futura. Prachtige luidsprekers en klank. Goed te horen is de nieuwe klanksignatuur in alle modellen van de toplijn (Aida, Amati Futura, Guarneri Evolution). De Venere 1.5 monitoren zijn echt een “bargain” in prestatie en prijsverhouding. Wat een goed geluid voor zulke kleine monitoren. Sonus faber is duidelijk weer op weg naar een stapje hoger en brengt een nieuwe  schok teweeg in hifiland.  Ikzelf ben ook erg benieuwd naar de grotere monitor, de Venere 2.0.

The small baby of the family -if compared to the Aïda-, the Venere 2.5, was showing a drive and energy that brought me again in ecstasy. My conclusion is that Sonus faber has put a new statement in this price-range, where other speaker manufacturers might break their teeth on. Think about having to make it possible for the consumer so they can buy a pair of loudspeakers for Euro 2550 with such a high standard of finish and sound quality. Bowing deeply, I take my hat off for this youngest member of the family!

By the way, yesterday I passed by Rhapsody to listen to the Sonus faber Venere and Amati Futura. Beautiful speakers and sound. Good to hear the new sound signature in all models of the topline (Aida, Futura Amati, Guarneri Evolution). The Venere 1.5 monitors are really a “bargain” in performance and price ratio. What a good sound for such small monitors. Sonus faber is clearly on the way to a next level up and is causing a new shock in hifi country. Personally I am also very curious about the larger monitor, the Venere 2.0.
