Krell Industries and Wisseloord Studios are proud to announce that Darcy Proper of Wisseloord Studios won a Grammy award for Best Surround Album 2013. The album is Patricia Barber’s Modern Cool on Premonition Records. Darcy uses 10 Evolution 400e monaural amplifiers, in two sound rooms for her work.  We would like to think that our amplifiers played a part in her success.

The Krell 400e mono amplifiers were supplied and installed by Durob Audio BV and Rhapsody Hilversum. First installation was a system of 5 Krell 400e amplifiers and shortly after it was decided Wisseloord could not accept a lower grade of amplification in their second mastering room, so another set of 5 Krell 400e amplifiers was installed.
