Another 2014 Very Good News Day is opening up. As well in Las Vegas as in Hilversum and in Vught. At these locations we find the new PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP models. The DiaLogue Premium HP Integrated Amplifier and The DiaLogue Premium HP Poweramplifier.

The HP models have a double row of power tubes under their cover and deliver as such … double power. Coming with EL34, you are free to exchange with KT88 or KT120 tubes. With a flip of the switch the Adaptive Auto Bias gets the optimum setting for the tubes chosen. PrimaLuna has always given you safe and reliable tube power and today we give you safe and reliable double tube power! And … more to come.

Another flip of the switch gives you the choice between headphones or loudspeakers. Behind this switch you find a design which is more unique than in any other amp we have seen. Not just running some wires from the speaker taps through a switch to the headphone connector, or -even worse-using an internal switch in the headphone connector (bad, bad, bad!), no, we designed a dedicated circuit for it. I invite our designer for this circuit, to explain it in the comments section.

Of course you can also switch the poweramplifier from stereo to mono which means your investment into a stereo poweramplifier is not lost once you want to go mono.
