They call this: Movie Product Placements. Manufacturers try to get their product into the movie and hope to make their brand more known and of course also to sell more. In the movie E.T., the poor “thing” was attracted by some sweet stuff. If you look at it you think E.T. fingers picking up M&M’s, but it wasn’t. Mars was afraid that due to the beauty of E.T. nobody would eat M&M’s anymore. Another company, offering the same kind of things, didn’t mind and took the risk and suddenly sold about 65% more!

München 2012 en al die andere hifi shows …

München High-End Show 2012 komt er weer aan. Weer groter naar het schijnt, dus weer meer exposanten. Rara hoe kan dat? Volgens mij zitten we al jaren in een krimpende markt en het enige dat niet krimpt zijn het aantal toeleveranciers. Zou mijn uitspraak van heel lang geleden (toen wij de Cello produkten van ene Mr. Mark Levinson vertegenwoordigden) dat elke consument zijn eigen producent krijgt, dan toch bewaarheid worden? Zover zal het wel niet komen, maar het lijkt wel die richting op te gaan. Op deze show is er zelfs een hal of een deel van een hal voor “nieuwkomers”. Die betalen niets of in ieder geval veel minder als de gevestigde orde. Om het maar groter te krijgen.
